My "Haggin Oaks" Google alert turned up a fun listing on Ebay that I wanted to share with our readers. "gcakids" is selling a vintage "Haggin Oaks Golf School" golf ball that looks like it was pretty well used over the years.
I checked with our own Ken Morton, Sr. to confirm the authenticity of this ball and he remembers them well. "These were solid one piece range balls that we used for our Golf Schools that I used to run." In Ken's estimation, this ball is 30+ years old.

Save The Date For Golf & Guitars 2010- Tuesday May 18th
The Golf & Guitars Celebrity-Am Tournament and Children’s Charity Concert is set for May 18th at the legendary Alister MacKenzie Golf Course at Haggin Oaks. Our third annual event includes a celebrity golf tournament, silent auction and concert. The event kicks off Tuesday morning in Sacramento as tournament participants enjoy a tournament round with a major label country music act. The evening will continue with the chance to bid on an astounding array of celebrity items and one-of-a-kind event packages. Topping the evening is a performance by all of our artists - nearly four hours of music.
